But you have to deliver very targeted traffic to have a good rate of conversion. And that means your ads have to be written to attract buyers and to not attract casual surfers.

You can do this by advertising and sending people directly to the site - or you can have a site of your own and send those people to your own site. This is called a Pre-sell Landing Page. Setting up a landing page or website takes work but probably much less than you expect. You can build a website yourself using freely available information.

When the interested person comes to your web page, your goal is to prepare them and sell them on the product. Success at this operation is a numbers game. It usually costs money to advertise to get people's interest. For example, it might cost 20 cents to get a person to your website or to send them to the vendor's website. Then out of 100 people that you send, only 1 to 5 will actually do something like buy a product or sign up for an offer. Therefore, you've paid for a lot of people that did not lead to a successful sale. So you have to keep the cost low and the profit high in order to be successful. Many people spend too much money advertising for the wrong people and wind up spending more money on ads than they make selling a product. So you have to know what you're doing, and there are many sources of information on how to do this correctly.
